Community Guidelines

We created Vennio as an exclusive space for athletes and hosts to create meaningful connections with their biggest fans in a positive, hate-free space. Our Community Guidelines are in place to ensure that every member of the Vennio community can engage with their favourite hosts and fellow fans in a way that celebrates community spirit and individual expression, without compromising on the well-being of others.

Vennio is dedicated to upholding our Community Guidelines through a robust moderation process that utilises both human reviews and machine learning. This ensures that enforcement is consistent and impartial and applied universally to all content and members within the community.

To maintain a safe and enjoyable space for everyone in the community, we strongly encourage users to help us identify and address content that may violate our Community Guidelines. If you encounter any material or behaviour that doesn’t meet our guidelines below, please report it immediately through the app's reporting feature or by emailing us. Your active participation is crucial in maintaining a respectful and safe environment. Each report is treated with utmost seriousness and will be reviewed by the team to ensure prompt and appropriate action is taken.

If a moderator addresses a breach of our guidelines with you, please respond cooperatively. Vennio reserves the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines, and depending on the severity of the violation, users may also be issued warnings, be subject to a temporary suspension while we investigate, or in more serious cases, receive an indefinite ban from the community. In certain circumstances, we may refer the case to law enforcement. If we suspend or ban your account, you must not attempt to re-register or submit content using someone else's account or identity.

Respect other members of the community and hosts

Vennio takes a zero tolerance approach to content or behaviour that disrespects other members of the community. These include but are not limited to those listed below:

• Treat others with kindness and courtesy: Always interact with other members and hosts in a considerate and friendly manner. Aim to contribute positively to discussions and avoid behaviour that disrupts the community.
• Do not use hateful or offensive language: Vennio takes a zero tolerance approach to hate speech in any form. This includes expression through text, photos and videos that attacks or promotes hatred or violence against others based on their protected characteristics, such as race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and others.
• Do not share harmful content: Posting or promoting content that depicts extreme violence, is sexually explicit or glorifies, promotes or normalises self-harm or suicide are strictly forbidden.
• Do not engage in bullying or harassment: Intimidation, threats, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Please also be considerate and understand that repeatedly sending a high volume of messages, even if they are kind in content, can be overwhelming for other users and athletes.

Act with honesty and integrity

• Do not impersonate others: Be yourself and do not pretend to be someone else or falsely represent your identity. Vennio reserves the right to request proof of identification to verify account authenticity if necessary.
• Do not misuse content: Only share content that is original or for which you have the right to use, giving credit where it’s due.
• Do not share inappropriate content: Do not post content that is defamatory, misleading, invasive, encourages illegal activities or infringes on rights.
• Do not post content that could damage or compromise security: This includes posting links to viruses, harmful programs, or any computer code that could negatively impact the functionality of software or hardware. Additionally, do not share content that disrupts or hinders the normal operation of the Vennio app or website.
